Art has always been a huge influence in my life. Whether it was in my school work or personal life, I have always wanted to somehow combine art into anything and everything I did. As a college student now, I am majoring in CITA (computing in the arts) through the Computer Science department. It is the perfect fusion of art and computer science, which is ideal for me.
Some of the courses I am enrolled in have been heavily dealing with either the computer or the art aspect of my major, none really involving both. However, there has been a course which I have greatly enjoyed for its combination of these aspects, my electronic publishing and design class.
This course is what gave me the knowledge to create this website, as well as how to change the format & styles of the page. Not only that but a lot of the artwork that is posted on this was done through a computer. It taught me how to add all the special effects to pictures and create images from scratch.
I would encourage anyone who is interested in the arts as well as computers to take this course!
